Commentary: Ski Cross

The newest Winter Olympic Game, is by far one of the coolest. It's called Ski Cross and is basically a combination of downhill skiing jumps and motocross.

There's around 10-15 hard jumps and huge and steep turns, and 3 other skiiers racing you to the finish. Let's just say it gets pretty intense, especially because the course isn't that wide. The result: collisions and pushing, while skiing, occur.

Men's Ski Cross is on today, and I will be watching the entire time. Qualifying rounds, all skiiers ski individually and the top 32, race 4 per turn, with the first 2 moving on. It's awesome.

Other than Hockey, I'd say that this event is rapidly becoming one of my favorite winter events.

Also, I am so excited for the epic USA vs. Canada Hockey showdown later this afternoon.
