Maroon 5

Hello from the land of Beatles, Brit Pop, Blur, and other wonderful things starting with B. In honor of my belated post from London, I decided to go with another Maroon 5 cover of a British band. This time, it's Oasis.Different from the fighting Irish Gallagher brothers in tone and style, Maroon 5 takes the mellow hit "Don't Look Back in Anger" and gives it a more soulful interpretation. Enjoy!

If I Ain't Got Maroon 5

I meant to post this on Monday after the ab fab Maroon 5 concert over at Cornelll, but I never got to it. The band (and last-minute opener Fitz and the Tantrums) were really awesome live, and I was psyched to hear that they sound as good in person as they do on CD - something that many concertgoers will value.

Adam Levine "Fell" Into The Beatles

Let me make this clear. Usually, I'm not a fan of Beatles' covers. I liked "Across the Universe," yes, but that was a rare exception when the cover version didn't suck. They weren't the Beatles, but they were fresh enough to make up for that.
