Money, War and Wisdom

President George W. Bush addressed all House Republicans earlier today in a desperate attempt to rally some support for his ongoing fight with Congress regarding war policies.

During that address, he said, “We expect the Congress to be wise about how they spend the people’s money.”

A Tale of Activism, and a Longer Post than You’re Willing to Read

Tuesday night was, on all fronts, an odd one. It may have been Wednesday night, on second thought. Surely, you’ll excuse my confusion after reading this night’s post.

At any rate, I had no money, which was no surprise as my routine day slipped to twilight. However, I felt a “Raisin Oatmeal” cookie and a large Root Beer from Jimmy John’s were called for to wash down the 57 pounds of sushi I had just consumed, and was obliged to use a credit card for the $3.00 purchase. God bless America.
