NBC Axes Curry From Today

All rumors and speculation were put to rest today as Ann Curry said goodbye to viewers after 15 years on the “Today Show.”

Curry broke down this morning on her final day as a regular “Today” show co-host. "This is not as I expected to ever leave this couch," Curry said.

Crossbar Spanish hero as he denies Portugal and sends Spain into the final

Dismay and denial were painted on the faces of the Portuguese fans who came to watch the Euro 2012 semi-final match between Portugal and Spain, as Bruno Alves smashed the ball off the cross bar allowing Cesc Fabregas to score the winner in a grueling penalty shootout.

The Eighth Circle

There was no sound as Lucifer rose to the world's surface. There was no flash of savage hellfire, no rendering of the earth's crust or cacophony of black screams echoing from the throats of tormented souls. It was simply that in one instant the fallen archangel was no more than a being of the nonexistence, a name held in time and space by nothing but man's iron belief in God His Father.

This fine Saturday here in San Francisco, I managed to get together with some of my old high school friends and we decided to go downtown to watch a double feature. I’ve learned that most college kids prefer to hang out at cafes or parties, but my group of friends, we enjoy watching and sneaking into free movies. Talking can be very much overrated.

Last night I found myself sitting on my bed eating a bag full of gummy candies. It was 7 p.m., and after the fifth consecutive episode of “Breaking Bad” on Netflix, I had no intention of moving — or putting on pants.
